Seaside Kit Version 2.0 is in production! The success of our new kit went beyond our wildest expectations. A relatively large order sold out almost completely in a couple weeks. Seaside Cafe' Espresso Bar is up and running! Stop by anytime for the best espresso in Manchester. It is not just us saying it! We built a full custom bar around our La Pavoni 2 group commercial espresso machine, installed a flat screen with surround sound for watching movies like Roam, NWD, TGR ski movies, and the Grand Tours and Spring Classics. Seaside Cross is rockin! At Sucker Brook in mens 4,Nate Campbell got 2nd place , and Todd Clark came in at 30th spot in a packed field of 83. Phil Wong took 5th in Men's Elite, and Joe Rapuano came in 30th in the super competetive Masters 45+ class. Phil Johnson battled for survival as the race took a toll on his back, but managed to not get lapped and finish what he came to do. Thanks for representing guys! check out a couple pics on facebook

Seaside Youth Mountain Bike Club! We had our first club ride on tuesday and we will be meeting again this tuesday for another round of fun on the trails. This ride meets at the Brook Street parking lot behind the school at 2:30, after school gets out. Anyone wishing to join the club or help out with the rides should email bumpus@seasidecycle.com and put "bike club" in the subject line.

Seaside Event Support The Seaside booth has been popping up all over the place lately. We did support for the Cycle for Life for the Floating Hospital for Children's Cancer Center on Sept 6, and Sunday we did our 2nd Kids PMC ride support at Endicott College. Last Sunday we were at the Lone Gull 10k road race and Sucker brook Cross,and we even made it to parents night at the high school to promote

helmet safety and the new bike club, and we did the practice session for the Kids Tri that is at the MAC on OCT 11 where we will be providing support. HOMETOWN HEROES!

Team Seaside Cycle finished with a stellar 3rd place finish in the final ECV Team Time Trial of '09. If you think that 3/4 of the team were huddled around the Seaside Cafe' Espresso Bar for half the day whacking back shots of espresso to prepare for this race then you are dead on. If we can whack back a few more shots next time we could do some more damage for sure. Janda Ricci-Munn, Phil Wong, Phil Johnson, and Paul McMahon tore up the pavement on Wednesday night in the Seaside kit and brought home a 3rd with a time of 24:29. The fastest time was put in by the Pavlov, Phillips, Burnett team who hammered it home in 22:56. 2nd place was the group of Carrier, Gavin, Rickenbach, and Hamilton at 23:58. These guys are all hammers so everyone should be pretty happy with the result. Vic Taormina (in Seaside Kit) , Corey Ricci Munn from Craft and thier teammates connor, along with Crystal Anthony took the 4th overall at 24:53 and also set the record for a male/female team. Tim Johnson, Lyne Bissette, and Jesse Anthony were the next over the line. Great turnout and a fun time for everyone involved. Now its time for Seaside Cross, so hang on to your hats! Stay tuned....

Gloucester Tri Highlights

We were down at the Gloucester Tri on Sunday cheering on all our customers and the rest of the athletes who came down to participate in the first Gloucester Tri that had 910 people registered. With a swim from pavillion beach, transition area in St. Peters square and a bike course that went down the boulevard towards magnolia, hooked a right on magnolia ave, and then right onto 133 and around for a second loop. The run was right through downtown You could not have asked for a better day for the event. Click through for a few photos we took during the event.
